We recommend that you do the necessary paperwork to have your name placed on waiting lists at two or three of your top choice marinas prior to closing the purchase of your new vessel. Chances are, you will be able to find a marina with availability, but it will most likely be more expensive than your top choices. Most marinas will allow you to lease the slip on a month-to-month basis, giving you flexibility to move to your choice of marina when a slip becomes available to you.
